Board of Health
The Board of Health is the primary policy-making and adjudicatory body for the Jackson County Department of Public Health. This Board is charged to protect and promote the public health of Jackson County. The Board is mandated by law and is composed of professionals representing specified health related fields in addition to at-large members who attend regularly scheduled meetings. All meetings are open to the public. All community members are encouraged to attend, to speak, and to give input to the Board.
