Adult Health Screening Clinic

The Adult Health Screening Clinic is available to anyone 18 years of age and older who has already established a relationship with a physician. Test results will be sent to that physician.

The Clinic involves two separate components: a comprehensive screening and thorough physical examination. A detailed history, blood pressure, height and weight will be taken for both clinics.  Patients are offered flu and pneumonia immunizations, a TB skin test and a tetanus booster.

The physical includes a skin exam, oral exam and rectal exam (if age appropriate) for all patients.  Women receive breast and pelvic examinations and a PAP smear, while men receive prostate and rectal examinations. Lab work includes urinalysis and hemoglobin.

The Comprehensive Clinic includes an EKG, and vision and hearing screening.  Lab work includes a panel of blood tests which screen for many different problems and conditions and urinalysis and complete blood count.
