Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less (ESMMWL)

Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less (ESMMWL) is a 15-week weight management program for adults that uses evidence-based strategies proven to work.  This program was developed by North Carolina State University, North Carolina Cooperative Extension, North Carolina Division of Public Health, and East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine.  Each lesson uses strategies to assist participants in weight loss and maintenance.

ESMMWL can be taught one of two ways:

  • Online
  • In-person

The in-person program costs $25, $15 of which is refunded upon program completion.  The program requires a minimum of 10 participants.  Refer to the 2015-2016 Schedule of Classes to see when the next ESMMWL class will be held.
