Child Passenger Safety Seats

The JCDPH provides Convertible and Booster seats for infants and children weighing up to 80 pounds.  This program is designed to offer residents of Jackson County a safe, secure way to transport their children in accordance with the N.C. car seat safety laws and guidelines.

The cost for Convertible and High Back Booster seats is $25.00 each.  No Back Booster seats are $10.00 each.

To receive a seat from the JCDPH, you must view a 15 minute car seat safety video, complete some paperwork, and have a certified car seat technician assist you with installation of the seat in your vehicle.

Hi, I am the CPS Technician for Graham County. Could you tell me what 15 minute video you use for your program on car seat safety. I currenty just teach a car seat safety class before the recipient gets the seat but I would like to have a video.

    Thanks,
    Mandy Adams
